Romantic tips for weekend getaway with SO? I am "kidnapping" my boyfriend this weekend - just because - as a surprise. I have booked a couple nights at a really nice B&B, and have planned to take him hiking and river kayaking during the days (he is an outdoorsy-type). Do romantic love feelings come and go? My husband just told me that he is not feeling romantic love feelings towards me. I should mention he is thousands of miles away...he and I married while on vacation together and were and are long distance. But he said that he loves me as a companion and as a best friend but he doesn't feel romantic love for me at this time. I do love him, and my love for him doesn't come and go! Why Dont Women Do Romantic Stuff For Their Men? Im a very romantic man. I like to do romantic stuff for my partners. I have been with several women but none of them ever did the same romantic things I occasionally did for them. It is my dream for example to one night come home from work to find everywhere is pitch dark except the table where a tasty candlelight dinner and a beautiful girlfriend are waiting for me. Or I come home and find candles on the floor leading to the bedroom where there are more nice scented candles and romantic song played plus my girlfriend waiting in sexy outfit ready to make passionate love. Stuff like this make me feel appreciated and contrary to popular belief some if not many men too actually like to be appreciated in similar way as women do. Its just that we dont like to reveal it because we dont wanna be looked down upon. So why dont women do romantic stuff back for their men? Or they actually do and I just havent had the luck to meet any of them who do?

If your partner is not the romantic type and you are, what is the best way to deal with this situation? My partner does not like romantic things. She doesn't appreciate romantic gestures very much either. I on the other hand, am very romantic. (Stereotypically women are romantic and men are not, but in my case, it is the opposite) I like to do romantic things for my partner and I would like it if she would do such things as well. Now, I don't expect anything grand gestures, but even small romantic things like a love note would be great to get. I've sometimes wanted to talk to her about it, but I haven't because I think to myself that she doesn't like romantic things for herself, if I ask her to do romantic things for me, she will probably do something, but just because I asked her to. And that doesn't make it very romantic now, does it. The main thing about a romantic gesture is that it is done unexpected, without being asked. Women are not romantic? Men have had centuries of practise in romantism and it's certain that every man reading this question is the son of a man who was romantic enough to go all the way with the woman of his dream and conceive a baby. So how come every show and movie tries to convince us that women came up with the idea? Most girls who try to be romantic come up with stupid acts like flowers or bring you a pick-nick at lunch... Cannot we simply say once and for all (especially after seeing so many stupid unromantic 'womanly shows' on TV) that "Men are romantic in their 'show-love' actions but cannot discernate romantic acts by nature while Women understand what is romantic but generally come up with immature romantic acts"? (Hint: if you think you are a romantic woman, prove it!). I hope the people who answer understand the obvious: What might be romantic for women (i.e., bring her a picnic at work) is not for men (i.e., come fetch him at the airport fully naked under a long trench coat). Being romantic means thinking about the other in special manners and for special occasions, not thinking about yourself and repeating again and again the same 'once-exceptional' events.

OK i had this extremeley romantic two week vacation with this kid who knows my family right. his family is a friend of my family and it was extremely romantic. now i had to leave costa rica on the 13 but hes staying with my grandpa for about another month. so after that whole romantic two weeks since its extremely hard to find a calling card in costa rica to call the u.s i decided to call him now here it was 12 in the morning.........A.M over there it was 10 p.m i called and he ended up picking up the phone. i said hi whos speaking and he said his name and i said oh hi how are you he said good and his tone was totally dull like he didnt care that i called and the tone made him come off as if he was thinking what does she want. so i just quickly said can i speak to my grandpa and he said going. that was it....AFTER TWO WEEKS OF A ROMANTIC VACATION, whats that about....and no we didnt do anything sexual so i doubt he was using me....so what does that mean?!?!?!
Romantic evening with marine boyfriend? I am going to visit my boyfriend at a marine base in s.c. in like a week n a 1/2. I am probably going to stay for like a week. Write a three to four page paper where you do a close reading of the poem you have chosen. Your essay should be a thoughtful and analytical discussion of the pems romantic elements with continual reference to the poem itself. your essay shold be a detalied discussion of how the poem works, how it sounds, its romantic elements, what it is trying to convey, and how the poet is trying to convey the idea to the reader. I chose the poem "Frost at Midnight" by coleridge My question is how do i organize all those topics we are supposed to discuss into a thesis.
