Club Med Bali or Club Med Lindeman Island for a Family Holiday? I'm trying to find out which holiday would be best for a family of 5. We have 3 children - a 9yo, 6yo and a 10mth old. I'd love to go to Club Med Bali or Club Med Lindeman Island in August 2008 for 11 days - does anyone have any recommendations for which resort would be best for us, especially given the children's ages. I've heard great things about both resorts, but the downsides for Lindeman are the never ending stairs and I've heard that the main restaurant in Bali doesn't have air-con - any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated :) :) :) Which resort would you choose if you had kids the same age? Best time to travel to Bali? Hi everyone, I'm from london and was wondering what the best time of year to travel to Bali is? I've read on various websites that September is a good time as it's slightly off peak season, but is before the rainy season starts. I was thinking of going on about the 10th Sept. but my friend told me that his friend went at that time and it rained non-stop for 10 days! Can anyone also recommend where the best place to stay in Bali is? We want to be in an accessible place, with lots to do in terms of sites, restaurants, bars, and of course, nice beaches. What do you think about these villas in Seminyak? So I'm planning to stay in Seminyak, Bali, in late August and I'm trying to decide where to stay: 1. Heliconia Villas 2. Villa Kubu 3. The Amasya Villas 4. The Elysian I need your opinion which place is the best one (for ONE-BEDROOM villa) in terms of value... obviously the Elysian seem to be the nicest among the other 3, but it's also the most expensive... price difference from Heliconia is about USD$100 per night, but does it really worth it? What is the difference between staying there with the other 3 villas mentioned above... in other words which one has the best location, distance from the beach, distance from the restaurants and shops, pool rating, noise factor, area safety, etc, overall the best value for what I'm spending. Please feel free to give a detailed answer if you've stayed at any of those villas... also other recommendations are more than welcome. The quote for Heliconia is $165 & the Elysian is $265 (that's $100 difference)... that's why I want to know if it's worth it to pay $100 more to stay at Elysian, and why that is (the fact that the place is nicer is not enough to me & I need to find more reasons like I described above)

the Hotel Padma in Legian or Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua ( BALI )for holiday? what are the pros and cons regardning these 2? We are 2 adults, one 11 year old. staying for 12 days in Bali. We like luxury, great breakfastbuffé, some shopping.(we are NOT backpacker type of people). Quiet rooms, no hustle, great pool and beach. Wich one should we go with? Is there anyway to get a close view of Mt.Kintamani in Bali? I hear from most people who have travelled to Bali and taken a tour to Mt. Kintamani that you only have a view of the crater closest to the restaurants and viewpoints around it but the mountain itself if very far away in view. i need help about marketing/communications job? I'm in year 10 now, and im looking forward to go to uni for a double degree in marketing and communications. Are there any Javanese Muslims who speak out against this nasty old man who've never been to Australia or Bali to my knowledge and is condemning my nationality from a point of view best described as ignorance!? I for one certainly do not go about in foreign countries "naked" or drinking alcohol in public outside of a restaurant as he claims Aussies do! I prefer Tea. We're all not ignorant beer swilling idiots !
